Queenstown summed up in a post . :)

sheep grazing on green pastures .

best candy shop in the world (best homemade fudge)

where heaven seems reachable .

snow and all the tiny people . :)

our ship .

the grass is always greener on the other side .

you know its fine dining when a few oysters costs you 30 AUS $

rainbows . :)

I really lose my blogging mojo whenever I'm in the computer room .
I need a laptop :/

Basically , Queenstown was beautiful , extravagant , breathtaking , peaceful & everything good stuffed into one small town .

Ever seen sights that just literally take your breath away ?
Ever feel the cold wind breeze through your hair painting a pink flush on your cheek ?
Ever ate good food everywhere you turned to ?
Ever seen a hill flocked with cows and sheep ?
Ever admired the tranquility of it all ?

Queenstown is a wondrous place to spend your honeymoon / retirement / holiday .
Its beautiful , its never boring .
So many activities for you to do !

I sat on a beautiful cruise to Milford sound , ate one of the best japanese , yes , japanese food , ribs and fish&chips .

I had awesome chocolate , bought so many back home .

I saw real snow for the first time and ski-ed !

I stayed in a beautiful suite and had a master bedroom all to myself :)

There are so many more things to say and so many more things I still wanted to do .

But all in all - I encourage you to drop by there for a visit . Its life changing - really changes your gloomy perception of life .

Aus ; New Zealand trip part 2 - Auckland .

my favourite ice cream in the whole wide world !

so many different types of sheep .

so adorable ! :)

MY DAD TOOK THIS :) He actually said girl , your favorite , you and your ballballs !
AHAHAHAH because I keep on telling my parents I like balls as in like meatballs balls in scarfs etc . =_=

I was underage for the casino in NZ ! So I had italian downstairs whilst they had crayfish .
I SAW A CUTE MAORI WAITER THOUGH WHO SERVED ME THROUGHOUT ! :)

The females :)

This is basically what kept me warm through the chilly weather :)
This one is especially warm , I got from Kathmandu ! :)

Their version of salad prawn .

I liked how my cheeks were always red throughout the trip ! The cold winter wind did my cheeks wonders . :) Though I had really dry skin everywhere else :O

The best jellyfish ever . :)

Premium chocolate NZ ice cream with hot fudge sauce :)

breathtaking .

THIS IS AWESOME I TELL YOU . Mochi (really smooth and light) containing light cream and durian ! ACTUAL DURIAN ! :) Its so good , sighs :)

I was waiting for all the pictures to upload , and then I started swooning again over different versions of Bruno Mars - Just the way you are .

I'm a bit in love right now , so forgive the brief post . :)

Auckland ? Well basically Auckland was where I was born .
This is my first time returning to Auckland since my flight back to Malaysia when I was 10 months old , and I have to admit , I'll never understand why my parents ever left that place .

The air , the scenery , the weather - it was beautiful :)
Ever seen such beautiful surroundings that actually bring tears to your eyes ?
Where you feel like singing what a wonderful world everywhere you go as you feel the wind whipping in your hair ?

Basically we also spent 3 days in Auckland , and then we went Rotorua for 4 days , then 3 days back in Auckland again , then 4 days queenstown , then 3 days back in auckland before we headed back to melbourne for 3 days :)

I liked shopping there because everything was just so much nicer there . Chocolate was so much cheaper than Australias , Ice cream the best I've ever tasted , sheep and cows & horses everywhere you go .

Suprisingly , the best dimsum I had was there as well . AND BY GOLLY , food is just so good there :)

SIGHS . I want to go back , desperately :)

Let pictures do the talking !

Australia/New Zealand trip Part one - Melbourne

AUSTRALIA : MELBOURNE .
DURATION : 3 DAYS .
PLACES : PHILLIP ISLAND , ELIZABETH STREET , CROWN CASINO , SOUTH WHARF DFO etc.

Day 1 - The 7 hour flight , the 4 a.m. arrival , the ciplak temporary motel .

With ecstatic hearts and sweaty palms , my father , my mother , my grandmother & my grand auntie gathered at my place early in the morning with humongous luggages in tow .
The stacks of winter wear we carried along with us were overwhelming - it was predicted to be freezing , especially in New Zealand .
We flew by emirates almost the whole trip , and I do agree that the quality of the flight , seats and especially the range of movies available was more than agreeable . :)
We checked in to the cheap motel near the airport as we only had like 5 hours to kill before it was time to go , And by gosh , it was compact : )
As in i felt like I was living in a box !
Customs were strict but thank God we were okay :)

Later in the afternoon .

We checked into our service apartments , Somerset on Elizabeth street . The place was pretty good , very homey and their staff were agreeable , by Australian standards anyway . :)
We went to Victoria market where we bought loads of souvenirs and me , loads of bracelets and opals , and of course , a revolting amount of ham and bacon .
We met up with uncle Adrian , auntie Fina & auntie Louisa over there , and later on also , Kao gong . :)
We had Chinese food due to my grandmothers sensitive taste buds , and I guess it was okay but the servings were enormous !
We headed to the Crown Casino (I'm legal yay!) for our steak . Food was slow , company was good , steak was overdone :/

DAY 2 - Phillip Island

We basically had a long drive over to Phillip Island , stopped by a town for a really good steak and fish and chips . We only managed to drop by the chocolate factory nearing its closing hours though , so we just went in and bought AWESOME FRESH FACTORY CHOCOLATE :)
It was so good , really . If I didn't need to convert , I would've bought the whole shop :/
Went to see the adorable penguins and bought more souvenirs . :)
Too bad no pictures were allowed though , they were so adorable and so close to us ! But IT WAS FREEZING :O

Day 3 - Melbourne shopping & Food .

DimSum overseas are HUGE , I'm telling you .
Sometimes its good , sometimes its bad . However I had a good meal , both at the same restaurant , SHARKS FIN INN in Chinatown . For dinner , we met up with a family's friend who was like the organizer for Asian events in Melbourne kinda thing . :)
Didn't buy that much because of the exchange rate and the lack of time in DFO , but it was good in a sense that I got 2 really gorgeous pairs of sky high heels - one from target , one from Aldo :)
They were cheap :)

After 3 days , It was off to Auckland in Air New Zealand for us , will update you soon ! :)
