So this was just a random post to rant about how much I want to go shopping. :)

This is what I gave in to when I was out to eat in one utama.

ZOMG. The sale. The pretty word rings I got for RM10 at DIVA, & a much needed college bag & a blazer.

SIGH. Please bring me to topshop.

Shangri-La .

My parent's recent renew of the Shangri La membership card entitled me to 3 meals over there in one week .

We had the seafood spread at Lemon Garden on sunday with Uncle Henny & family , which was really good compared to the normal spread . Scallops were really heavenly . :)

On wednesday , which was on Hari Raya Haji , The family & I headed over to the city for shopping ( Uniqlo , Pavillion , Sungai Wang & the likes) . Bought a couple of stuff , and was really happy with the winterwear I bought from Uniqlo . And the pair of jeans :D It fit me like a glove .

Headed over to Shangri La again for high tea , where we ordered the classic tea set and the malaysian tea set . They had the BEST scones I've ever tasted in my entire life . I'm serious . The cream and the jam was heavenly , and so were the macaroons .

Then of course , we headed to Lemon garden on sunday again for the normal buffet spread .

Disappointing , though .

Just a post on how much I do love Shangri La . :) I want to go Zipangu & Lafite . They're the best , in my opinion .

Chic Pop 5 : TTDI Plaza . :)

So Saturday began with a yawn & a stretch due to the long phone call the night before , and with the corners of my lips tugged into a smile reminiscing upon the events of the previous day .

With the scent of waffles & root beer still heavily etched onto my mind , I walked out staring at my messy wardrobe who had an endless supply of clothes but nothing to wear .

After settling for a yellow dress , when Naomi was near arrival I realised it was so gauzy you could see through it in the light . I gasped and ran up and got the first thing on my mind .

OH WELL . No hot guy to see there , just shopping to do :)

I amazed Naomi with my awesome sense of direction , :) , and led Szelee , Huoylin , Kahyee & their ChungHwa friends to TTDI plaza . It was so crowded already upon arrival , but nevertheless the excitement of finding a good buy was on everybody's mind .

May & her blogshop , http://www.phatculture.com was there , along with a lot of other interesting blogshops .

I settled for a scallop skirt , a bunny ring & a pair of high waisted shorts .

I would've bought more , but I nearly fainted - maybe due to the lack of oxygen ; maybe due to the lack of breakfast .

But nevertheless it was fun - doing the whole shopping thing . :) Munyee looked so cute in her dress ! :)

I bet you she'd be featured heee :)

For all these things , I spent :

rm30 - scallop skirt

rm 32 - Hight waisted lace shorts & spaghetti

rm 15 - bunny ring

Total : RM 77 :):)

I didn't go to the ATM , I'm proud of myself !

It's funny how a sad event can lead you to be more appreciative regarding the little things in life . Simple insignificant gestures that you used to take for granted can bring tears to your eyes thinking about it . People often say the phrase "live like you're dying" , but another nicer phrase would be "appreciate things/others like they wont exist again tomorrow" . Because in life , if you live as if youre going to die tomorrow , i think most of us would just do crazy stuff and enjoy ourselves . But if we live as if the things that we tend to take for granted , or the people close to us , are not gonna be there tomorrow , how much more meaningful would our lives be , and how much more we will not regret when the time comes ? I read an old blog of mine recently , a blog i started when i had just entered my rebellious early teen years . The "profound" language I used were "amazing" . How I critisized the world for being so terrible to me , how i sounded so pitiful when I posted emotional poems , one after another showing the world how pathetically psychotic i was .

I basically hated the world for throwing its obstacles at me . Now I can only appreciate the beauty that God has provided for us in the world . Because albeit all the trials and sufferings that are found in every corner - every page of newspapers , there is still beauty in the world . Instead of complaining and dwelling only in the darkness the world or all its inhabitants can offer , would'nt it be better for us to appreciate life's little blessings and turning them into blessings for others ? If I were to tell you I am 100% satisfied/happy with my life , I will be the most dishonest person in the world . But I can definitely say I am not dwelling on the tribulations that i have encountered / am encountering , either . I have learnt to hope that every obstacle will turn into a testimony , and that every step I take brings me closer to being a better person .

I'd like to apologise to every bit of hurt I've inflicted on anyone for the past years , and plead for a chance to improve on myself . =)

MONDAY

Had classes as usual , then mr joel was nice enough to pick me up and drive me to ss2 for chilli pan meee ! =P Mr joel eats much less than me , and I had to force him to eat wantons =(

He made me feel like a pig lah , seriously .

TUESDAY

It was green day/Ann's birthday ! The whole class turned up in green (cept for jeremiah the globule) We blindfolded her and made her circle the campus whilst waiting for keng yee and naomi to buy whipped cream etc. It was a really fun bonding time I guess , and I'm really glad i got into group C =)

WEDNESDAY

8 Hours of continuous class mannnnn . =( But my day was really brightened up by joel , awwwwwww =) He drove all the way to help (20 mins drive) even though he had no classes that day , just to hand me a cup of starbucks java chip that he got on the way =/ Hahahaha girls anyone interested ? =P

THURSDAY

Classes are really fun lah , lecturers at HELP are just plain awesome :D

FRIDAY

Had CF after biology class , mr Ronnie is just awesome what can i say =) Then went to san francisco for spaghetti/drinks with the flamingo , i miss her soooooooo much ! Talked about stuff then headed for futsal with some CF people =) Met new people , and although vania and i were just basically circling the court , we had a lot of fun =) PENGUIN came back from uniten , so we went to tropicana city with joel to watch LEGION after that . I was happy i finally got the meaning , but I would've preferred toothe fairy lahhh .

TODAY

Woke up early in the morning (9.30 is early for me on a saturday) headed to jalan telawi to do some CNY shopping ! Didn't shop much , but I'll count my blessings lah =) Mommy was a gem to walk up down up down without complaining - much . =) FINALLY bought the vintage brown structured bag i have been having my eyes on lately , and this had a little floral print in front ! Got a ring , skirt , the bag and two dresses for only 250 ! =) mommy must be proud of me . Headed to bangsar village for a drink in the chocolate lounge , super chun man american express can have 50% off , plus buy two drinks free one !

AND IM TELLING YOU , THE MISS COCO CHOCOLATE BLENDED - HEAVEN ! :)

Came home , changed , and went for reunion dinner (moms side) . I drank 3 bowls of sharks fin soup , few pieces of suckling pig , 5 big prawns , fish , 2 bowls of longan dessert , half a spring chicken , lo mai fan with taiwanese sausages and 10 cups of chinese tea . How not to get fat tell me ? hahahahha .

So far , I'm enjoying college life , but i do miss the awesome bunch , yuen ling , vania , yee en , natalie . =(

you know its christmas when the malls are extraordinarily crowded ♥

And so the day begun (or rather , afternoon , in my case ) with a groggy phone call , and chinese tuition following it . And then , before you know it , I'm back at the computer screen again . Dad actually is demanding I go out now . Reverse psychology much ? Anyway , I went to tropicana mall with the family to have our meal . And of course , squeezed in some christmas shopping ! I am officially broke =/ hmmmmm .

Look at the amount of pirated DVDs I bought ! Gasp . Dont arrest me , please . I just have so many catching up to do . 20 original movies will probably burn a humongous hole in my pocket (as if there isn't already one)

I actually like this dish . Im a big fan of mangoes : D
