Hada Labo. :)

I've never been much of a skincare/bodycare person.

The truth is, I neglect my poor body and skin - by eating unhealthy amounts of oily foods and by just sticking to cleansing (sometimes on lazy days, with water only).

I'll admit this. :) I got dragged along by Yuen who was the one who came across this offer.

It was RM20 per person - with buffet provided, a goodie bag, access to special prices and hada labo products!

Of course, if you were REAL LUCKY, you could participate in contests and win your share of prizes too.

It seemed like a good deal & I only payed RM10 for it (I'm a cheapo, don't ask who paid the other RM10 heh)

Especially with my known ability - or rather, should I say, known appetite.

The theme for the event was white with a splash of blue (DUH RIGHT LOOK AT THEIR LOGO) :D

Yuen came over to my place and we figured out what to wear together, picked up her mom and off we went! :)

It was pretty intimidating - being surrounded by, well, girly girls with tonnes of makeup and flowy dresses. Not that I had anything against them. I'm guilty of indulging in my more feminine side when it comes to clothes too. Just not makeup - YET.

Everyone was definitely dressed to impressed and as usual a small clump of photographers (the media & the like) were trying to snap pictures of the event.

Managers scurried around making sure everything was in order before the event started while the waitresses served us blue fizzy drinks.

The host, who I do not know and have not heard of (I pretty much live in my own turtle shell when it comes to entertainment news), greeted us with a very enthusiastic and ummm... chinese? hello and talked about the brand.

The brand, being japanese, hired a japanese couple to start the event off with a bang, or should I say boom as they were japanese traditional drummers.

They had an ambassador search a couple of months beforehand and ended up with 14 faces for the brand. They showed us the recent commercial for Hada Labo & the process, and of course, an introduction to their products and benefits.

HO-HUM. I'm terribly sorry, when it comes to skincare products I'm pretty much an alien.

All I know was that I had fun and they even convinced me to purchase a bottle of moisturizing lotion which I must admit, makes your skin taut and smooth even after one application. I was in dire need of something to apply on my face and hey, they gave us all special discounts.

I've yet to try the trial pack they gave me but I've tried the moisturizing lotion and so far, I'm alright with it I guess. I havent been sleeping much lately, or rather, my sleep cycles ruined, thus the presence of the 2 unsightly pimples on my nose.

I'd better start taking care of my skin - it's not going to be pimple free as long as I get my sleep soon.

Anyways, the event was held at FULL HOUSE, and I must admit, the food was above expectations.

It wasn't a wow or anything, but it was nice. :)

Environment was cozy - with many young females flooding the second floor.

Did not walk away with any prize but Auntie (yuen's mommy) won the lucky draw! She walked away with rm180 worth of products and of course, with a smile. :)

She treated us to I heart Yoghurt, a newly opened branch at Sunway Giza, which is similar to tutti frutti but seemingly healthier and less sweet. :)

Enjoyed myself despite it not really being my kind of thing, and took a few snapshots while I was at it. Still new to the whole thing! Sorry for blur pictures.

Mhmmmmm . ♥

PHEW . What can I say but it's been a really long weekend for me . :D

Sunday , I had Trekathon ! i dragged along Ziwei . & I met Kimberley and Charissa there .

We were the only A-Level students our year ! =/

As Bukit Gasing was really nearer to my place , I waited for them there instead . D:

It was a long wait , what can I say but blame it on malaysian timing ?

But either way , to summarize it , [ my muscles are aching playing with the kids ] .

It was something scary for me as I thought we were just going to climb up the Hill .

Me , being afraid of heights when it comes to climbing , [ not roller coasters or bungee jumping of course ] , was just glad I made it out alive .

Sure I was tired towards the end , but I guess what really got my heart pumping was the uneven slopes that had my feet wobbling the whole time .

i remember at one point i was singing "Jesus loves me" to myself when I looked down .

I was praying so hard in my heart to get out of the place alive . :D

Well , I didn't come in top , but I didn't come in last few either , So I'm really happy . :D

MADAM ZIWEILOH got top 9 with spinal problem , flu & period ! :O :O

Either way , had refreshments provided by HELP after that , whose leftovers I had to finish [ not that I'm complaining ] .

I showered and played with the adorable kids again .

Altogether I had like to giganticHUMONGOUS bowls of meehoon , chicken wings and sotong .

Then I had chocolates & sarsi .

Then I had like 4 slices of ginormous pizza after that =P How not to get fat , tell me ?

Today had classes as usual , chilled @ chillax with yuen ling , travis , bonnie , zaomin and uhhmmm the really cool girl who could speak malay very well :D

Went to computer lab to "attempt" CS with Joel whilst waiting for yuen ling , played with the guys after making a fool of myself , made new friends in the com. lab for being the only girl whom I still only know their names by "balls" , "DC" , "auntie" etc. [CS names]

Went to the park and played with yuen , joel & my newfound primary friends , Amanda , Ke xin & Joanna ! Awww . Kids nowadays i tell you , handphones at std. 4 , facebook , and educating us about sex ! O.O I wonder whether its a good thing or a bad thing .

Anyways , weeliam came along after his hair cut , talked , and went to justin's shop for a light snack . Went to pasar malam , had tons of food , and came back feeling bloated . :D :D

HOW HAS 2010 BEEN ? ♥

College has been pretty awesome , if you'll push aside the fact that I feel really stupid with all the smart hardworking geniuses in my class :D & also the fact that I'm not a morning person . The freedom is actually refreshing , though my parents aren't exactly handing it all over in a silver platter yet .

But I guess it's pretty nice to be able to walk out wherever you want during breaks - whether you feel like having a slice of the awesomest cake ever (rocky road) in chillax , save money by going to eat chap fan , going with friends to eat vegetarian food , or when you have this sudden urge to take a cab down to jalan telawi to shop .

Im actually enjoying lectures more than lab periods . Because I dislike getting all bundled up in the morning , its so cold there .

Went to HELP UC's Christian Fellowship for the second time the past friday , the "official" welcome party =) It was nice I guess to meet new people and to be able to eat nasi lemak at the end , heh . Im hoping the times Im gonna be spending over there will just be a journey that brings me closer to God .

Before that , headed to bangsar with ivory , and it was really nice spending time with her =) She has made chinese tuition so much more bearable and interesting . We ate at pappa rich after rounds and rounds of circling and being indecisive , heh . Most boutiques were closed , because it was too early . We made an oath to come back there with tons of money in hand =D

ANYWAY , took undang yesterday , OMG hahaha i BARELY studied , and i was so panicky in the morning , but thank the Lord that I got 42/50 ! Which means I just passed . I didn't scrape through . I didnt pass by a little . I JUST passed . Hahaha . But passing it means that I got to go to bengkel with the penguin dearest .

ANYWAY , PENGUIN HUN , I don't know when you can see this , but I miss you already okay ? 5 years of friendship and still counting . Youre my gym buddy , ss2 buddy , makan buddy , dancing buddy , swimming buddy , checking out hot guys buddy and everything else !
